E-Waste Recycling Services

This final processing of electronic and IT assets is a very critical part of the recycling process. Not only does it protect the planet — it can also recover value for your operation. Once equipment cannot be remarketed or refurbished for extended use, or functional components cannot be resold and reused as second-hand parts, recycling is the next step. Electronics contain various toxic and hazardous chemicals and materials that are released into the environment if they are not disposed of properly. Electronic recycling is the process of recovering commodities and materials from old electronic devices for re-use in new products.

SustainableTec offers certainty that your electronics, precious metals, and non-ferrous scrap are processed safely, securely, and sustainably.

    ● No Verifiable Circular Impact

  • Our recycling services are carried out at accredited e-waste facilities. Once your Electronics, IT and communications equipment is collected, it is transported to the recycling facility, where materials and metals are carefully sorted and separated for recycling, to be used again for future manufacturing processes.

SustainableTec has partnered with recycling facilities which are certified to the highest standards available for e-waste processing, with significant annual processing capacity per year.

All facilities are e-Stewards certified, which is the highest standard in IT Asset Disposition. This standard prevents the improper disposal of hazardous e-waste while defining a downstream material tracking system. This process allows us to bring materials down to the separated commodity level such as plastic, metal, and glass. Resulting commodities are sent to downstream processors, all of which are audited and pre-approved through our rigorous Downstream Vendor Management Program.

All facilities provide fully integrated operations with advanced technologies and small downstream footprint  – that means reduced chain of custody issues and guarantees that no electronics will end up in a landfill or that inoperable electronics will be exported to developing countries.
